2:11 p.m. - Report of a two-car motor vehicle accident on Roosevelt Avenue between a 2021 Chevy Traverse and a 2018 Hyundai Kona.

2:43 p.m. - Male party into the lobby stating he was almost scammed. He got a call stating they were from the Treasury Department requesting he buy pre-paid Visas at Cumberland Farms. Reporting party did not want to speak to an officer as he is not out any money. Advised reporting party to call or come in if he notices any issues.

Thursday, March 28

11:13 a.m. - Employee at Open Sky stated he was conducting a room search and found knives and an antique grenade in one of the rooms. The antique grenade was not real and the manager took possession of the knives.

Monday, April 1

9:31 a.m. - Reporting party from Wheeler Street stated his son’s vehicle was hit this morning sometime between 6–6:20 a.m. when the other vehicle was backing out of the driveway across the street. Other vehicle described as a blue work-type van and believes it belongs to MJ Transportation because they were dropping off the neighbor. Stated they have already reached out to the company and they are looking in to it. No plate provided. Stated damage to the van would be the passenger side bumper and a broken tail light. Damage to son’s vehicle is the passenger side door. Picture was emailed to an officer if needed. Stated his son’s vehicle is already out of town and not able to be viewed. Motor vehicle unoccupied at the time. Reporting party stated the van had stopped for a second but couldn’t tell if they knew they hit the car or not. Advised it would be documented.

10:13 a.m. - Male party from Main Street calling to report his plate stolen off his car. Stolen plate paperwork was filled out and signed by owner, who states the vehicle is not driven often and last time he potentially saw the plate on there was about a week ago.

10:56 a.m. - Caller reporting for the past week or so, there has been a vehicle that parks in their parking lot for hours at a time and then leaves and comes all day long. They are concerned on what their intentions are due to there being a kid’s bus stop right there. Caller calling back, the male party is back in the parking lot. Officer responded, party is not there. Officer responded back and spoke with the male who claimed to be a door dasher. After clearing, caller called, stating the car was back. Officer arrived and spoke with the operator/owner. He stated he works for Door Dash, has been working in Athol for a few months and that this parking lot has good WiFi and centrally located while he waits for orders. He was advised that Subway gets busy during lunch and that aren’t kicking him out, but if he notices the parking lot getting full, to move along to open up a spot. He stated it wasn’t worth the hassle and moved along anyways.

11:24 a.m. - Store manager from Taco Bell would like to speak to an officers about a former employee harassing them and throwing things at them in the drive-thru. Officer attempting to make contact with the male party at his residence. Spoke with all parties. Subject was given verbal trespass for Taco Bell

12:03 p.m. - Caller from Conant Road is reporting she found people in a tent on her property so she told them to leave. The reporting party would just like an officer to document the incident. Stated she spoke with them and they did take their stuff and left.

8:31 a.m. - Male party from Freedom Street reporting a bulldozer showed up to take down the home that was condemned. Reporting party stated a group of people came out of the condemned home upset that the home was being taken down. No one came to the door, Assessor’s office shows the building is owned by an LLC out of New Hampshire with no phone number.

12:46 p.m. - Caller is reporting a suspicious Lexus with a smashed windshield has been parked on an Exchange Street property for the last day.

Friday, April 5

4:40 p.m. - Two-car motor vehicle accident on Market Drive between a 2011 Toyota Sienna and a 2020 Chevy Silverado. Reporting party states she backed into the motor vehicle in the parking lot, causing damage to the truck.

Saturday, April 6

4:39 p.m. - Caller from Riceville Road reporting two horses walked through his front yard. ACO was contacted to see if they knew who they belonged to. The owner was called, and is currently out trying to get them. Owner caught them and returned them home.

5:34 p.m. - Caller from Riceville Road reported the horses that got loose earlier damaged his front lawn. Report issued.

Sunday, April 7

10:51 a.m. - Female party from Cass Circle, reporting neighbor’s car alarm is always going off and keeps her and her family up in the middle of the night. She was advised to call when it occurs so an officer can locate the correct owner. Called back later as alarm was going off again. Unable to locate vehicle.

Monday, April 8

10:39 a.m. - Caller from Beacon Street reporting a juvenile went into her mailbox and grabbed something stating he was the mailman and his car was parked down the street. Reporting party stated it is not her mailman and the suspect in question did not have a uniform on. Reporting party calling back stating it is in fact a mailman that was just not in uniform.

Wednesday, April 10

6:30 p.m. - Caller from Pequoig Avenue reporting a property dispute, stating her neighbors put small solar panels on her property and she wants an officer present while she removes them. Female gathered the items on her property and they were placed on the porch of the other residence. Female was advised of court options if it continues.

7:05 p.m. - Male party from Pequoig Ave reporting his neighbor “destroyed” his mother’s flower pots. Attempted to speak with the male party regarding the neighborly dispute. Spoke with reporting party’s mother and advised her of her options.
