OLD HOME DAY A SUCCESS

Editor, Daily News

On behalf of the people of New Salem and all the people who joined us for [the July 15] Old Home Day celebration, we’d like to thank the many volunteers and businesses that made it possible. It’s impossible to mention all the volunteers who lent a hand to the effort, but we’d like to thank the local businesses that donated to the different events and activities: Herrick’s Ice Cream, The New Salem General Store, Market Basket, Hannaford’s, and graphic artist Casey Williams.

And, for their support of the festival music and the evening Adam Bergeron performance, we’d like to thank the New Salem and Massachusetts Cultural Councils and the Athol Daily News.

We hope you’ll all join with us in July 2018 as we celebrate the Old New Salem Academy and its alumni.
