Matthew Cole, of Orange and a member of Boy Scout Troop 1837, recently constructed a new greenhouse for the Ralph C. Mahar High School for use by the science department. This was done as a means to both satisfy a requirement to attain the rank of Eagle Scout and as a way to help out his school. Much of the materials used in the construction of the greenhouse were donated by local businesses and it was built by Cole with the help of his parents and friends. He officially turned it over to the school Friday afternoon. Left-to-right - High school science teachers Barbara Schulze and Christine Perham, Cole, and Principal Ishmael Tabales.
