VENICE, Fla. -- Pauline (Polly) Chenausky Perkins, 92, formerly of Athol, died on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, in Venice.
Polly leaves many nieces, nephews and close friends as well as her children, Walter Perkins and wife Sandra of Webster, Mass., and Venice and her daughter Frances Perkins Godin and husband Jerry of Athol and Sarasota, Fla.
Polly lived for more than 90 years on Everett Avenue in Athol. She enjoyed her many friends, gardening and her pets. Above all else, Polly loved her five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, Rachel and husband Philip Behrens, children Jennifer, Kimberly and Nicholas Guy; Rodney Bialkin and wife Joanne and daughter Madeleine; Jesse Guy Bialkin and wife Jennifer, children Noah, Sarah and Lily; Erik Perkins; and Amy Perkins Salmon and husband Charles, children Olivia and Julia.
Until the very end Polly kept pictures of all her family close by and was always uplifted to receive recent pictures of any and all of them.
Polly was loved by many and will be dearly missed. She has had a profound impact on her family and will forever be remembered and celebrated.
Arrangements are private and there will be no calling hours.
She will come home to Athol to be buried in Silver Lake Cemetery, next to her husband, Guy Walter Perkins, who died in 1983.
