Edris E. Rowe - Deceased, Jan. 27, 2013

ORANGE -- Edris E. (Dresser) Rowe, 90, formerly of 383 East River St., King James Court, died early Sunday morning, Jan. 27, 2013, at Quabbin Valley Healthcare in Athol.

Born in Orange on May 2, 1922, she was a daughter of John and Elsie (Imberg) and grew up in Orange, graduating from Orange High School in 1940.

On Sept. 18, 1941, Edris married Lloyd M. Rowe and they enjoyed 67 years together until his death on Sept. 5, 2008.

Edris had worked at Erving Paper Mills for several years before starting her family. As her family grew up, she enjoyed working with all her customers while employed by the J.A. Tepper Store in Orange.

She was involved with Cub Scouts for over eight years and had also been active in the Orange Senior Citizens Club and the King James Tenant Association.

Edris enjoyed the outdoors and visiting with family and friends who will deeply miss her.

Survivors include sons, Lloyd Jr. and his wife Ilene, and Ronald and his wife Judy, all of Orange, and Steven and his wife Deborah, of Athol; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband, Edris was predeceased by a son, Terry Rowe, on April 20, 2009, and a sister, Lorene T. Dresser, on Dec. 19, 2004.

There are no calling hours.

Services and interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Orange Senior Citizens Club, 135 East Main St., Orange, Mass. 01364.

Witty's Funeral Home, 158 South Main St., Orange, is directing the arrangements.
