Dale R. Dooley

LYNN — Dale R. Dooley peacefully passed into the presence of his Lord on Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.

He was born in Gardner on April 7, 1945, to Francis and Vivian (Thompson) Dooley. He graduated from Athol High School in 1963.

He worked for the Department of Transportation in Boston for 37 years, He most recently lived in Lynn. He attended the Grace Community Church and occasionally played guitar with the music team; he also loved studying the weather. 

He is preceded in death by his mother and father. 

He is survived by his brother, Jay Dooley and wife Linda; his nephew, Chris Dooley and wife Jennifer; niece Pam Kotoch and husband George; his great-niece, Olivia Dooley, and great-nephews, Phillip Berry and wife Emily, Austin Dooley and fiance Abby Burdin, and Alex Kotoch. He also leaves cousins Tana Divoll and family, and Joyce Gabrenas and family. 

Funeral services were held at his church in Marblehead on April 8. Burial will follow in Silver Lake Cemetery at a later date.
