ATHOL — Funeral services for Karen J. Soucie were held Saturday, April 15, in the Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home in Orange. Rev. Edwin Montana, Pastor of Our Lady Immaculate Church in Athol, officiated. Eulogies were given by Mark Soucie, Diane Kamilia and Tom Kamilia. Burial followed in Silver Lake Cemetery, Athol.

ATHOL — Karen J. Soucie, 52, of 131 West Chestnut St., Athol, died Monday, April 3, 2017, in Los Angeles, Calif.

She was born in Worcester, on Feb. 23, 1965, the daughter of the late James H. Soucie and Vicky (Joly) (Soucie) Janik.

Karen grew up in Athol and graduated from Athol High School with the class of 1983. She was the owner of Choice Property Consultants in Worcester for over 20 years. She enjoyed going out to dinner and spending time with her friends. She loved traveling and often brought back gifts for her two dogs that she adored. Karen was afflicted with Multiple Sclerosis.

Besides her mother Vicky, Karen leaves one brother, Mark J. Soucie and his wife Ann M. of Athol; one niece, Jessica A. Soucie and one nephew, Timothy J. Soucie both of Athol; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 15, at 11 a.m., in the Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Rd., Orange. Burial will follow in Silver Lake Cemetery.

Calling hours will be held Saturday, from 9:30 to 11 a.m., at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, New England Chapter, 101A First Ave., Suite 6, Waltham, MA 02451-1115.

She was a good person who was a daughter and God has her now to met up with my parents are going to look out for her and my mom will cook for her and my daddy will give her a smile and a hug when she needs it like I still do because I loved him and I still miss the both of them so much it hurts to my heart is brokenhearted
