2:42 a.m. — 911 call for an 85-year-old female having difficulty breathing, Smith Street. Officer assisted with escorting the husband to the ER.
5:44 a.m. — Motor vehicle stop, Silver Lake Street. Citation issued for speeding.
7:31 a.m. — 911 call for a motor vehicle accident, Main Street. Vehicle pulled out into traffic and was struck. Citation issued.
8:15 a.m. — Owner reporting vandalism, Petersham Road. Sometime last evening someone broke the front office door by kicking the glass with a shod foot. There is a muddy print in the center of the door, causing the glass to spiderweb.
10:46 a.m. — Library requesting a welfare check, Prospect Street. Looked up the male party in house and there was a welfare check done Jan. 14. Home health aides stated he had passed away some time in December.
11:09 a.m. — Town Hall called stating an elderly gentleman was in complaining about how the sidewalk hasn’t been cleared between Mr. Mike’s and the Fire Department, Main Street. Party had to walk out in the road. Officer spoke to the manager, who is calling the property groundskeeping crew to rectify the sidewalks.
11:44 a.m. — Officer out with a male party walking in and out of traffic, Tower Road. Older male party walking across the parking lot in pajama pants and a short sleeve shirt. When asked where he was going, he seemed a bit confused and improperly dressed for the temperature. He mentioned his son’s name. Was able to contact the son through dispatch and get the gentleman in the care of his family.
12:57 p.m. — Caller reporting a bag of what’s believed to be drugs on the ground, South Main Street. Collected discarded bags of suspected heroin. Items entered into property to be destroyed.
2:25 p.m. — 911 call for a 36-year-old male that passed out, South Main Street. Is now alert and breathing. Patient refusal. Assisted AFD.
3:02 p.m. — Walk-in looking to speak with an officer regarding sexual text messages she has been receiving from a Gmail account, Old Keene Road. Reporting party was advised to continue blocking the emails and deleting the texts. Her phone provider has been made aware of the situation. Emails are from various scrambled accounts and unable to be traced.
3:18 p.m. — Motor vehicle stop, Pequoig Avenue. Steven M. Wilson, 41, of Old South Rd., Orange, was arrested on charges of number plate violation, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, failure to wear seat belt, unregistered motor vehicle and uninsured motor vehicle. Dale’s has the vehicle. Bail set at $40.
3:20 p.m. — Walk-in to speak to an officer regarding harassment, Main Street. Violation of a harassment prevention order. Party will complete a written statement and charges will follow.
3:28 p.m. — Walk-in would like to speak to an officer regarding a person that is renting a room from them, Old Keene Road. Reporting party concerned about possible conditions in subject’s room. She was advised of options if conditions found unhealthy.
6:26 p.m. — Caller requesting an ambulance for her 90-year-old mother that is having psychiatric issues, Coolidge Street. Officer en route to Athol Hospital with FD.
9:45 p.m. — Caller stating a female party is making suicidal statements, Chestnut Hill Avenue. Officer en route to Athol Hospital with female party.
