11:06 a.m. — Caller reports a large limb just fell into the wires, West Myrtle Street. Officer located National Grid truck near Carroll’s Corner and flagged them over. They responded and handled the limb issue.

12:02 p.m. — Officer located wires/tree down, Prospect Street. Lines pulled from the house. Tree debris removed from roadway and National Grid advised.

2:33 p.m. — Caller reporting his pellet stove is malfunctioning, East River Street. Same thing has happened in the past also. Officer responded and assisted OFD until they were under control.

3:01 p.m. — Officer requesting to advise Verizon that the service line to and from a residence is down and on the sidewalk, creating a hazard for pedestrians walking, Prospect Street. Verizon critical desk advised.

5:49 p.m. — Officer noted an ATV headed south with operator not wearing a helmet and no lights at dusk, Wheeler Avenue. Operator admitted that the ATV is not registered, but showed the bill of sale. Operator issued citation.

9:35 p.m. — Caller advises they took a call for a car versus black and white dog near the town line, South Main Street. Reporting party advises she got to the area and believes that the accident happened in the area of Hunt’s Farm. She states that when the operator turned around to see what she hit, there was nothing there. Reporting party advises she advised the farm of the incident and believes that it could have been a calf. Officer spoke with operator’s father and found the car to have no damage. Advised it would be put on record in case something turns up.

9:42 p.m. — Reporting party advises that she is getting calls from the police association looking for donations, East River Street. The reporting party was advised that this is a scam and not to give any information.

11:07 p.m. — Caller reports a male/female disturbance with children crying in the background, East River Street. All quiet on arrival. One party was not there. Spoke with other party who said she had stepped out a while ago with a friend. Advised her of complaint. Party said that there has been only her and her daughter and she was doing her homework. She let officers in and all appeared OK.
