ATHOL – Two people were hospitalized for injuries following a vehicle crash on Partridgeville Road Wednesday afternoon, according to the Athol Fire Department.
The crash was reported around 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 24, and Athol Fire was dispatched to the area of 993 Partridgeville Road. Upon arrival, crews encountered a single vehicle had struck a pole with heavy front-end damage. Both occupants were outside the vehicle when crews arrived.
Both occupants were transported via ambulance to Athol Hospital. A UMass Memorial LifeFlight was requested to Athol Hospital for a critical care transport to UMass Worcester Health for one of the occupants. The second was sent to Athol Hospital with less serious injuries.
The Athol Police Department is investigating the crash.
