ATHOL, MA – Judith L. (Oja) Stevens, 78, of School Street, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 surrounded by her loving husband and family.
Born in Troy, New Hampshire on October 28, 1947, she was the daughter of Roger and Mary (Girard) Oja.
She married David Stevens.
Judith was an active volunteer of the Athol Salvation Army.
Survivors include her husband, David Stevens of Athol; her children, Tammy McGee and her husband Michael of Pawtucket, RI, Susan Stevens of Jaffery, NH, Sherry Selby and her husband Gene of Keene, NH and Pauline Hughes of Athol. She also leaves behind grandchildren, Bianca Pinter and her husband Benjamin, Sebastion Wentworth, Derek Stevens and his wife Mariah, Joshua Wentworth and Madison Wentworth; great grandchildren, Oliver, Mya, Dean and Skylar; a brother, Roger “Skip” Oja and his wife Judith of Tennessee; a nephew, Michael Oja and his wife Kacie of Tennessee; two grand nieces and one grand nephew.
There are no calling hours.
A celebration of life will be held on April 25, 2026 at 11 a.m., at the Athol Salvation Army, 107 Ridge Avenue, Athol.
Interment will be private in Mountain View Cemetery, Swanzey, NH.
