Kissimmee, FL – Denis Jean Brault, age 77 of Kissimmee FL, formerly of Virginia Beach, VA, Pembroke Pines, FL and grew up in Athol, MA passed away Saturday, March 14, 2026, in the Orlando Veterans Hospital in Orlando, FL.
He was born May 31, 1948, in Gardner, MA to the late Jean P. Brault and Hedwidge M. (Mallet) Brault of Athol, MA.
Denis worked for the L.S. Starrett Tool Company before he joined the U.S. Army in 1970 where he made his career for 34 years, retiring in 2004.
On December 6, 1987, he married the love of his life, Denise A. Boyer.
One of his most passionate past times for 30 years was doing Stained Glass, each spring he could be found filling the yard with color and life as he planted his favorite seasonal flowers, he also enjoyed Woodworking and Upholstery.
Denis is survived by his wife Denise, his two children Diane Snyder and Darryl Brault, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, sisters Janet Mousseau, Theresa (Peter) Deloffi, Irene (John) Drozdowski, sister in laws Angela (Joe) Cortner, Eileen (John) O’Sullivan, Cecile Salas, Jeannette (Peter) Bucchieri, Gill Brault, brother in laws Gregory Boyer and Michael (Coleen) Boyer. 12 Nephews and 16 Nieces and many grandnephews and grandnieces.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Mark Brault, Grandnephew Colby Brault bother in laws Kenny Moussseau, Roger Boyer, Marshall Salas and Gerard and Marjory Boyer.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Athol, MA where he grew up, and also in Poinciana, FL where he resided for the last 22 years.
