ORANGE — The Mahar boys track and field team secured 11 first-place finishes against Frontier Regional High School to defeat the Intercounty League foe, 84-61, on Monday afternoon.

The Senators (2-0) earned 55 first-place points, 21 second-place points and eight third-place points.

Aaron Hendry earned first in the long jump with a jump of 19 feet, 2¾ inches. Hendry also earned first in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 16.6 seconds, first in the 200 with a time of 23.9 and first in the 400 hurdles with a time of 61.5. Ash Shaw earned first in the high jump with a jump of 6-0. Shaw also earned first in the 400 with a time of 52.9. Hugo Frost earned first in the triple jump with a jump of 40-11. Camron Burnett earned first in the discus with a throw of 99-8. Sebastian Shaw earned first in the 800 with a time of 2:14. The Senators also earned first-place finishes in the 4×100 and 4×400 relays.
