LEOMINSTER — There will be more than 300 pieces of artwork by local artists, crafters and photographers on display at the Leominster Art Association’s 53rd Annual Art, Crafts, & Photography Exhibit. The event will be on April 27, 28 and 29 at St. Leo’s Auditorium, 108 Main St. on Route 12.
This is a judged show that includes various mediums and levels. Ribbons will be awarded by a judging panel, consisting of four qualified artists. Only members of the association are invited to participate. Some of the displayed pieces will be for sale.
The Exhibiting Artist for the 53rd Art Show will be Jane Keogh, who is currently the vice-president and on the Board of Directors for the Association. She has been a member for many years and has held many different positions.
There is no charge to attend this public exhibit, however donations are accepted.
Public viewing hours are: Friday, April 27, from 1 to 5 p.m.; Saturday, April 28, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and 6:30 to 9 p.m.; and Sunday, April 29, 1 to 5 p.m.
The Leominster Art Association raffle will be held throughout three days. Participants have a chance to win donated items such as artwork, crafts, museum passes and gift certificates. All proceeds from the raffle will go to help the Leominster Art Association, a nonprofit organization that helps foster awareness of cultural art forms by supporting regional talent from all age groups and all stages of artistic development.
