12:06 a.m. — Stone Valley Road caller reports upstairs neighbors stomping around. Ongoing issue; caller says he has asked them to be quiet as he and girlfriend cannot sleep. Quiet on arrival. Advised of complaint and to keep the noise down.

12:14 a.m. — Assist other agency, Brookside Road. Negative contact with anyone at the home.

2:55 a.m. — Warning issued to motorist stopped on Daniel Shays Highway for defective equipment (plate light).

11:25 a.m — Officers requested at Congress Street location. Caller reports two males fighting and screaming from inside light brown house. On arrival subject came outside and stated he fell onto his hardwood floor, it hurt, and he was swearing and yelling. He refused medical assistance, then got upset and started complaining about the red car across the street because of a loud exhaust. Reporting party came out of house and started yelling at him. Officer calmed situation and both parties went into their residences.

12;24 p.m. — Report of vehicle on fire, North Main Street, 20 feet from residence. Command advised under control. Both units assisted with traffic control.

1:35 p.m. — Report of disabled motor vehicle, Brookside Road, near trailer park. Two young females with the car, and have been there awhile. Officer spoke with operator who was all set and leaving the area.

4:38 p.m. — Officer responded to Walmart for report of past larceny. Under investigation.

4:51 p.m. — Request to check welfare, McCarthy Lane. Female didn’t answer for her meal delivery today. Car gone, no answer at the door or by phone. Investigated.

6 p.m. — Burglar/hold up alarm, New Athol Road. While on the line, person on scene was calling in. At 6:10, spoke to alarm company who advised they received proper passcode from employee on scene.

6:46 p.m. — Officer kept the peace, and conducted an escort to East Main Street. Parties doing an exchange in armory parking lot. Party states not all clothing was returned. Advised it is a civil issue.

10:58 p.m. — Medical emergency, East River Street

11:53 p.m. — Burglar/hold up alarm (office motion), Daniel Shays Highway. Building checked and found secure. No keyholder response.

11:55 p.m. — Request for officer, Prospect Street. Party called inquiring if police had dealt with her son, as his fiancé states he hasn’t returned home since he left at 1 p.m. Monday. Advised Orange police have not dealt with him, same checked with Athol police. Party never called back after stating she will speak to her son’s fiancé again.

Tuesday, April 10

1:02 a.m. — Athol police advise they received an open line call, yelling could be heard in the background, East River Street. Athol advises they spoke with subject who said he’d be outside building to flag down the officer. No further information available. Orange officer spoke to all parties involved who agreed to go to bed for the night and stop arguing. Verbal only.

7:25 a.m — Request for officer, East River Street. Caller reports she’s in lobby of the police station and needs to file a report about her ex-boyfriend making false accusations.

8:07 a.m. — Responded to medical emergency, Oaklawn Avenue.

9:16 a.m. — Served summons to subject at Governor Dukakis Drive.

9:16 a.m. — Burglar/holdup alarm, New Athol Road, front right personnel entry. Found to be accidental by an employee.

9:19 a.m. — Larceny, Daniel Shays Highway. Party requests to speak with officer about theft that occurred online. Officer spoke with party who explained how he purchased a car online and the seller now wants more money to ship the car. Caller thinks this is a scam, and will print out paperwork and call back when it is done so police can look it over.

11:11 a.m. — Walnut Hill Road caller reports person just threatened her by way of text message. She has trespassed him from the family property.

11:25 a.m. — South Main Street property owner wanted to know how to have an abandoned, unregistered vehicle removed from his property. Information provided.

2:26 p.m. — Caller reports about 1:30 he was parked at Walmart near the garden center. When backing out he hit the bumper of a vehicle and it left a scuff mark on the fender near the headlight. He waited for them to come out of the store but they didn’t. Wanted on record. No damage to his own car.

4:46 p.m. — Fire alarm, Red Brook Lane. Caller advising alarms in hall sounding but nothing showing. Unit on scene, nothing showing. Under control; pot on stove.

5:11 p.m. — Report of chimney fire, Chestnut Hill Road. Responded to two-story wood structure, light smoke showing from chimney. Both units responded and stood by until Orange Fire Department was all set.

5:56 p.m. — Officer reports he is assisting with drop off of items, Stone Valley Road. Caller states court has ordered her to return all of property she took from the home a few days ago. Due to an active restraining order she requested an escort. Same done. At 6:25 p.m. caller reports subject failed to return all of her property. Advised to seek relief through the court.

7 p.m. — Debit card found at local ATM turned in to police.

7:24 p.m. — Medical emergency, East River Street.

7:50 p.m. — Animal complaint, East Road. Caller reports bear in the area that was upsetting her horse. Advised to keep out of the yard when the bear is in the area and remove all food sources.

10:20 p.m. — Assisted other agency, South Main Street, Athol. Officer advises assisting Athol Police at an accident; starting a track shortly. Assisted Athol police with traffic.

11:40 p.m. — Request to check welfare, East River Street. Found intoxicated male subject laying on side of road. Requested to go to the hospital.
