I am writing in support of Chelsea Kline for state Senate. Throughout her campaign, Chelsea has shown again and again that she’s here to represent the entire district and every individual in it. Her background as a single working mother on food stamps to her career as an accomplished higher education leader shows that not only does she know about the issues, she understands them on a personal level.
With the rising costs of education and decreasing value of the minimum wage increasingly becoming barriers for so many, Chelsea’s plans for empowering our community and revitalizing our schools by strengthening public programs — some of the very same programs she herself benefited from — will help all of our communities succeed, from a city like Northampton to our small towns that make up most of the district.
