HARDWICK — The East Quabbin Land Trust will conduct a holiday bird count on December 29, from 8:30 a.m. to noon. The day will begin with a complimentary breakfast and bird ID training session at the EQLT office at 120 Ridge Road. Participants will depart at 10 to check out bird feeders and other birding hotspots in the Hardwick area.
All ages and experience levels welcome. Attendees are encouraged to bring cameras, binoculars, and to bundle up.
Those who have a popular bird feeder on their property are invited to let the group know whether they can stop by to check it out.
