12:18 a.m. — Officer off with boat hooked to a trailer behind the high school near Lake Ellis beach entrance, Main Street. All was well.
2:37 a.m. — 911 caller reporting an argument happening near his home, South Main Street. Verbal argument, no one would speak with officers.
3:56 a.m. — Caller reporting howling in the area, Woodland Drive. Check the area, no howling upon arrival and nothing found out of place.
6:19 a.m. — Owner of the boat and trailer behind the high school called and stated he will be removing it today, Main Street.
6:47 a.m. — Caller reporting a bear and cubs walking down Chestnut Street, Chase Road. Advised parties out walking.
9:14 a.m. — 911 caller stating that there is a little girl that doesn’t look any older than 3 years old alone with no parents around, Silver Lake and Crescent streets. Reporting party is concerned for her safety. Officer advises child is back with parents.
10:27 a.m. — 911 call for a cat stuck in a dumpster, Central Street. Cat came out of the dumpster.
10:28 a.m. — Male party outside the lobby to speak with an officer, Crescent Street. Wanted to thank the police and caller for getting his daughter home safe.
12:40 p.m. — Caller reporting a huge turtle in the middle of the Exit 18 off ramp, Route 2. MSP advised.
2:50 p.m. — 911 call for an object on fire outside of an apartment building, South Street. Per Engine 3, fire is out and nothing is showing.
3:16 p.m. — DCF requesting police assistance for a removal, Cottage Street.
6:43 p.m. — 911 call for a 3-week-old female having difficulty breathing, Park Street. Transported to hospital.
7:37 p.m. — Officer reporting a suspicious car in the back parking lot taking apart pallets that are not intended for the public, South Athol Road. Owner of the company is headed down there. Vehicle was gone on arrival.
7:48 p.m. — Caller looking to speak to an officer regarding a package that was possibly stolen off her front doorstep, Crescent Street. The reporting party stated she ordered clothing and the company said it was not delivered. She believes it was and was taken off her door. She will be speaking further with the clothing company.
8:02 p.m. — Caller stating that there is a cooler with an ID and food stamps in it, Grove Street. Contacted the owner of the cooler. Officer en route to the female to return the cooler.
9:08 p.m. — Caller reporting verbal disturbance in the alleyway with an intoxicated male, Main Street. Stated he did not need an ambulance.
9:17 p.m. — Caller stating that a pickup truck is moving at a fast speed up and down the road. Area checked, gone on arrival.
10:01 p.m. — Caller reporting there were a few individuals in front of a house that were running out in front of cars, New Sherborn Road. No issues.
10:02 p.m. — FD took a call from a female having problems with her smoke detector, Ernest Avenue.
10:54 p.m. — Alarm company calling stating burglar alarm, Chestnut Hill Avenue. Alarm company calling back canceling, got ahold of a primary passcode holder.
1:21 a.m. — Alarm, Brookside Road. Key holder on scene.
8:40 a.m. — Caller reporting her roommate is moving out and stealing her cat, South Royalston Road. Cat was returned.
11:33 a.m. — Caller reporting she was scammed out of money after purchasing a dog, Starrett Avenue. Party paid a deposit on a puppy and never received the dog.
12:38 p.m. — Caller reporting dog poop tracked through apartment and it was not his doing, South Main Street. Spoke with subject, stated he did step in dog poop but was unsure how it went through the apartment, advised there was no police matter.
12:38 p.m. — Female party banging on lobby door, Wellington Street. Walked away from parking lot, party was gone on arrival.
12:57 p.m. — Athol Hospital calling for officer assistance with 34-year-old male asking to be arrested, Main Street. Assisted Athol Hospital, no issues.
3:08 p.m. — Caller requesting police do a death notification for her, Carol Circle. Contact was made with male party regarding his son’s death. Due to his health, reporting party requested PD stand by while he called her. Officers left shortly thereafter.
6:24 p.m. — Caller reporting someone swerved towards him while he was on his bike and threw beer cans out the window at the same time, Main Street. Officer requesting OPD be contacted, have them identify who was driving the vehicle and tell them to come pick up the cans. Shelburne Control was contacted, OPD will respond to that address.
6:50 p.m. — 911 call for an overdose, Sanders Street. CPR in progress. Assisted with breathing and Narcan given. AFD transported to hospital. Officer to follow due to aggressiveness towards AFD/PD.
6:59 p.m. — Child abuse emergency line reporting they took a call from the suicide line for a female that made self harm statements and family members reporting there has been more violence to the child in the past two months, Arlington Street.
7:06 p.m. — Caller reporting four people physically fighting on the beach, Lake Ellis Road. Officer advising two in custody. Alex Manuel Santana, 28, of Southbridge, MA, was arrested on charges of assault with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Christopher R. Paine, 31, of Southbridge, MA, was arrested on charges of possess Class B drug, subsequent offense.
8:30 p.m. — Caller reporting the neighbor is trying to put a kayak on his truck and shouldn’t be, Mountainview Road.
8:45 p.m. — Caller reporting a gray Honda coupe speeding in the area, Pleasant and Kelton streets. No plate available.
8:56 p.m. — Caller reporting people hanging out in her backyard, Beacon Street.
8:57 p.m. — Caller reporting there are three minivans and it appears there is a female that is intoxicated, Crescent Street.
9:08 p.m. — Caller reporting male party sitting in his motor vehicle in the parking lot for over an hour and seemed to be in distress, New Athol Road.
9:25 p.m. — Two callers reporting fireworks, Park Street.
9:39 p.m. — 911 caller reporting there is someone in his neighbor’s backyard, Freedom Street. While on the phone party got into an SUV and drove away.
10:33 p.m. — Fireworks in the area, Liberty Street. Advised over the PA to stop the fireworks. Unable to determine which backyard it came from.
10:35 p.m. — 911 for fire alarm, Laurel Street.
10:41 p.m. — Caller reporting his wife fell and needs help up, Chestnut Street. Originally stated she wanted to transported. Once OFD arrived, she decided against it. OFD assisted her up and into bed. Refusal signed.
11:21 p.m. — Caller reporting a large party in the area that is making a lot of noise, Sanders Street. Spoke with all parties. Advised of complaint and told to quiet down.
