11:48 a.m. — Notification that 20 to 30 “souped up” Subarus or Audi is headed toward Orange from South Athol Road, apparently heading to a car rally.

2:08 p.m. — Caller requesting a welfare check of her 4-year-old daughter who is having a visit with her father, West Main Street. Reporting party has concerns. On arrival all was in order and nothing was noted in speaking with party. The daughter was located in the living room watching Frozen 2.

6:10 p.m. — Caller concerned for her grandson who she has not heard from in a couple of months, West Main Street. Ran the registration to the grandmother’s van and found that Hadley PD has run it a few times in the last couple of days. Officer spoke with a Hadley officer who said the van is in one of their store parking lots and believed party is sleeping at night there. Asked if they could pass a message along for party to call his grandmother. They said they will try.

7:08 p.m. — Caller advises she has three individuals attempting to steal/conceal “high-end face products”, East Main Street. All units responded and two females and one male to be summonsed to court for shoplifting by concealment.

7:34 p.m. — Party requesting a call regarding picking up personal property from her former residence, East River Street. A call was made to the other half and a message was left.

10:29 p.m. — Call into the station for a suspicious vehicle driving up and down the road, Eagleville Road. Area was monitored with nothing found. Spoke to two individuals at the boat ramp who had been there for a half hour, no issues.

Sunday, March 29

8:10 a.m. — Caller requesting officers because his tenants/housemates are not minding the safe distance rule and his immune system is compromised, Cottage Street. Situation mediated.

4:01 p.m. — Motor vehicle violation, East River Street. Stopped for vehicle being revoked for insurance and operator having suspended license. Citation issued and vehicle allowed to be left in a parking lot.

4:46 p.m. — Party advises one male detained for shoplifting, East Main Street. One to be summoned.

7:22 p.m. — Party called the station looking for further assistance with getting her property back, East Main Street. Officer returned call and she was concerned party may have thrown out her belongings in dumpster across the street.

8:04 p.m. — Party advises someone is breaking into the laundromat, West Main Street. Call from the alarm company reporting a burglar alarm activation at that location as well. Received 911 call from party advising he believes someone is breaking into the coin machine at the laundromat. Tracking behind some houses on West Main Street. Officer advises they have returned to the Orange Innovation Center building and has found a stolen saw in the woods.

8:58 p.m. — Party advises a gray car just pulled up to the store and a party that was in the car got out and stole his BMX bike, East Main Street. Received a call regarding the BMX bike. Party advises his buddy rode the bike around the parking lot and parked the bike on the side of the building. Advises a male party came out and the male party was told where the bike was. Attempted to call back the store but got no answer.
