ATHOL — Radio on 105.9 FM WVAO-LP is alive and well in the North Quabbin region, according to AOTV Executive Director Carol Courville. Recent graduates of WVAO Radio Programmers training are looking forward to producing local information and entertainment for the North Quabbin Region as well as their own shows.

Programs include Orange and Athol government meetings, music from eras of the past, commentary and shows from the classic days of radio. The station is on the air 24 hours a day, with some shows replaying during the week. You can check the WVAO schedule on aotv13.org.

Staff and the volunteer crew will be ready for the excitement of two big events: “River Rat Race” on April 9 and the “Food-A-Thon” on May 17.
