9 a.m. – Multiple reports of people camping by the river. Police found people camping in the dirt path, and they were advised to move along. One tent was empty.
7:17 p.m. – Motor vehicle complaint from East River Street area of a white Corvette where vehicle operator appeared to be intoxicated (the male appeared to have problems walking). Police were able to make contact with the operator at his residence. He was advised of the reporting party’s concerns. It was strongly suggested that he stay in for the remainder of the night.
9:49 p.m. – Daniel Shays Highway two-car motor vehicle accident with entrapment, injuries and smoking vehicle. Fire and Ambulance response while police assisted at the scene.
11:48 a.m. – East Main Street caller reported the belief they were being stalked by someone they had been communicating with on the internet. Police advised them to block all accounts and to have IT check their devices for any virus, and to monitor their credit.
10:49 p.m. – Police mediated a noise complaint issue from the East Main Street area. Reporting party advised people in the nearby camper were yelling and swearing; ongoing issue for past several weeks. All were calmed down.
11:20 p.m. – New Athol Road traffic stop resulted in one arrest. Stopped for no plate lights and failed inspection. Arrest made for possession class B substance.
5:53 a.m. – After serving a warrant in the North Main Street area, police arrested one individual for drug possession and withholding evidence from a criminal proceeding.
11:51 a.m. – Police were called to Daniel Shays Highway where reporting party requested assistance with someone arguing about checking out. Subject fled the scene but was later taken into police custody on charges of destruction of property, resisting arrest, unregistered motor vehicle and failure to stop for police.
12:12 p.m. – Daniel Shays Highway stop and arrest of one individual on a default warrant.
1:01 p.m. – Patrol officer spotted and pulled vehicle over for going wrong way on ramp. Upon arrival police spoke with driver who did not appear to be impaired. Driver was given verbal warning.
10:15 p.m. – West River Street traffic stop for following too closely. Operator unable to provide proof of insurance. Citation issued. Vehicle towed.
11:33 a.m. – Police approached parties who were pushing a store shopping cart on East Main Street. Upon identifying the male party, police found an active warrant. Same taken into custody without incident.
6:34 p.m. – Several 911 calls for a three-car motor vehicle accident in the East Main Street area. The injured were transported to Athol Memorial Hospital. Original call reported one of the vehicles had been speeding down the road and just drifted into the road and hit other involved parties and continued on.
