WINCHENDON — The Winchendon Music Festival is just around the corner.
The free concerts at Old Centre Church (First Congregational Church of Winchendon, 10 Old Centre) will begin Friday, June 1, at 7 p.m.
Directed by Andrew Arceci, the festival has been called, “A festival featuring international artists …” and “A weekend to please all lovers of music … a learning experience for those who love to explore sound.”
All concerts begin at 7 p.m. and are open to the public, with general seating.
On Friday, June 1, Arceci, a performer, arranger, director and scholar, will direct a number of artists (classical).
On Saturday, June 2, French-born Anne Azema, voice, hurdy-gurdy, harp and organetto (classical) will peform.
On Sunday, June 3, it will be John Arcaro & Band, Program I (jazz) performing.
The festival will continue on June 22, 23 and 24.
