12:09 a.m. — While on patrol officer observed some new damage to a property, Tunnel Street. Under investigation.
1 a.m. — Caller reporting what she believes is a drunk driver, Market Drive. Reporting party stated the vehicle got onto Exit 18. State Police contacted.
8:43 a.m. — Noise complaint, Laurel Street. Spoke to second floor tenant; she is running on a treadmill because she fears going outside due to COVID-19. Spoke to reporting party who isn’t happy with the response. Advised both parties of court options and to contact the landlord.
10:26 a.m. — Officer requesting the fire department for a brush fire, Partridgeville Road and Daniel Shays Highway. Brush fire was started on the wood line with pine tree branches near and above the fire. Resident started the fire with hopes of clearing the land by dropping the trees into the fire as they went along.
1:02 p.m. — Caller reporting a suspicious vehicle that has been parked on the side of the road for a few days, Ferron Circle. Vehicle belonged to mother of a tenant.
1:31 p.m. — Funeral home requesting an officer assist at intersection for funeral procession, Main and Exchange streets.
2:00 p.m. — 911 caller requesting an ambulance for a male party that tripped and hurt his knee which he recently had surgery on, Mann Court. Reporting party requesting to cancel the ambulance as his surgeon would like him to go to him instead of the hospital.
2:31 p.m. — 911 call for an erratic operator, Main Street. Orange notified.
2:37 p.m. — Athol Cinemas is requesting extra patrols in the evening because teenagers are trashing the parking lot, Reservoir Drive.
2:39 p.m. — Caller reporting that he saw on Facebook a female making Q5 statements, Exchange Street. Officer contacting Fitchburg PD.
3:58 p.m. — Caller reporting a small white truck went through the gates and she believes is trespassing, Thrower Road. Officer opening up the gate and will be heading down. Per officer the vehicle is off the roadway. No parties at the vehicle, unable to locate.
4:11 p.m. — Caller stating that there has been a bicycle on the side of the road for about two weeks, Old Keene Road. DPW was notified and will be getting the bicycle tomorrow.
5:51 p.m. — Caller wanting to speak to an officer and report a breaking and entering that happened at residence, Harvard Avenue. Reporting party stated his shed was broken into and what he stated was a leaf blower, chainsaw and some tarps were taken.
5:52 p.m. — Officer is out in the parking lot assisting a citizen, Exchange Street. Spoke with male and female parties who were arguing over child custody. Both advised it was a court issue. Child was taken into father’s care.
6:39 p.m. — Male party calling about cars at the end of the street, Ridge Road. Officer spoke with subjects that were there watching the sunset. There was a parent present with the high school-aged youths. Most subjects were in their vehicles. Several were outside standing together, but they all lived in the same house. No loud noise or music on officer’s arrival.
8:20 p.m. — Caller stating a friend is making Q5 statements, Main Street. Male party isn’t answering the door. Voicemail was left for the male party. Officer made contact with male party, it was a misunderstanding between two parties.
8:22 p.m. — Caller reporting that there is a loud party going on at the neighbor’s house, Sanders Street. They are out on the front lawn. Checked area, negative findings.
9:13 p.m. — Report of a motor vehicle accident, South Athol Road. Reporting party stated that she tried to swerve to miss hitting a deer and her power steering went out in her car. Greg’s Towing will be taking the car.
10:19 p.m. — Caller reporting loud music and a party going on in the front yard, Sanders Street. Male party met officers and stated he just turned off the music and was shutting things down.
