Great Falls Middle School is seeking a football coach for the 2020 season.

Practices in Turners Falls will begin on Aug. 24 and run until Oct. 27.

K of C League returns

A group of 56 golfers returned to action in the Thomas Memorial Golf & Country Club’s Knights of Columbus League on Wednesday, and Art Girard set the table for the field with a winning plus-7 point quota.

Mike Cadran was right behind at plus-6, followed by a three-way tie for third place between Ken McGahan, John Plotkin and Jeremy Roussel, all at plus-4.

Thomas Ladies League

Robin Hartnett and Nancy Browning tied for the top point quota of the week at the Thomas Memorial Ladies League on Wednesday night.

The duo each posted a plus-5 point quota to lead the pack.

Jane Smith and Dorothy Adams scored birdies on No. 7.
