PETERSHAM — After the Rain, an acoustic and a cappella group, is set to return to the Petersham bandstand Friday, Aug. 10, during the Petersham Friday Market. The market runs from 3 to 6 p.m. on the Common.
The group brings their vocal harmonies throughout the Pioneer Valley by playing a variety of music from traditional Appalachian to classic rock and contemporary folk. The group features members from Leeds, Amherst and Belchertown including Ruth Critcher, Rae Griffiths, Carol Sharick and Devin Griffiths.
Each week at the market local farmers and vendors bring their fresh produce — from corn to tomatoes and squash — locally raised meat, baked goods, honey and various craft items to the common. The selection at the market varies each week.
