PHILLIPSTON — Regional entertainer Dan Kirouac will perform a free concert at the Phillipston Congregational Church on Tuesday, Sept. 17, at 12:45 p.m. The concert is sponsored by the Phillipston Cultural Council.
Some of the nation’s best-loved songs of the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s will be revisited and re-interpreted by the simplicity of one acoustic guitar and one vocal. This will be a “juke-box” of memories from the stars of pop, light rock, and easy-listening.
Part of the regional music scene for more than 35 years, Kirouac has been an entertainer, drummer, keyboardist, guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter/publisher who has performed hundreds of events throughout New England, New York, and Mexico, with studio recording credits from New Hampshire to Arizona. He is a current performing member of the tribute band, Beatles For Sale. More information is available at www.DanKirouac.com.
The church is located at the Common in Phillipston. A donation of $3 is suggested. Call 978-516-8061 for reservations, more information, or details or space availability inquiries for non-members.
