Wednesday, February 1

9:39 a.m. – Individual arrested at Perry Road on outstanding warrants.

10:47 a.m. – Reported women’s red wallet lost in E Main Street area.

8:40 p.m. – Police investigated a suspicious vehicle reported from E Main Street.  Caller stated the car had been in the parking lot for multiple hours, no response when knocked on windows.  Police made contact with the male party who had been sleeping in his vehicle, and he was sent on his way.

Thursday, February 2

10:15 a.m. – Station lobby walk-in to report that gas was siphoned out of his vehicle the previous night while it was at Holtshire Road.

7:14 p.m. – Traffic stop at New Athol Road for loud, altered exhaust.  Operator/owner was issued a warning to get it taken care of before citations start occurring.

Friday, February 3

10:28 a.m. – Report of multiple parties from Court Square stuck in elevators due to the power outage.  Parties were removed from elevator without issue.

6:21 p.m. – E River Street caller reported a pine tree had landed on her trailer, but she was not hurt.  Building inspector contacted.

Saturday, February 4

12:31 a.m. – Police investigated an unsecured door in the New Athol Road area on the East side of the building.  This door opened to the inside where the next two doors were secure.  Unable to contact key holder; building was secured.

5:05 p.m. – Station walk-in to report three vehicles that were stolen from the New Athol Road dealership.  Larceny report taken.

Sunday, February 5

12:27 a.m. – E Main Street caller reported that the security alarm system at her residence had gone off twice and her dog was barking, but she didn’t hear or see anything suspicious.  Police investigated and building was secured.  Key holder was notified and responded to check on same.

2:32 p.m. – Party from E Main Street into station to report ongoing harassment from upstairs neighbor and is not feeling safe living in a same building.  Police advised them of the Harassment Protection Order (258E) options as well as eviction process through the landlord.

8:02 p.m. – New Athol Road traffic stop for defective plate lights and illegal use of auxiliary lighting.  Verbal warning for the violations.

8:02 p.m. – Daniel Shays Highway traffic stop for failure to stop at stop sign and speeding.  

8:22 p.m. – E Main Street traffic stop for failure to inspect and illegal use of auxiliary lighting.

10:22 p.m. – OFD response to E Main Street; burnt food.

Monday, February 6

3:38 p.m. – Police investigated a suspicious person report from Pine Hill Road.  Negative contact.

9:06 p.m. – Police addressed a complaint form Stone Valley Road of a male party leaf blowing, and riding an ATV up and down the street making loud noises the entire night  (could audibly hear on the call the ATV creating a loud noise).  Police spoke with the other party who said he had ridden the ATV home from his garage right next door and was calling it a night.  He was also advised to keep the ATV off the roadway.

9:21 p.m. – Water Street traffic stop for plate light violation.  Passenger placed under arrest for active warrants.

Tuesday, February 7

5:25 p.m. – Station lobby walk-in with found cell phone from the E River Street area.  Police were able to contact daughter to enable phone to be returned to the owner.

Wednesday, February 8

10:28 a.m. – Station lobby walk-in to turn in ammunition found inside his Stone Valley Road residence. 

11:10 a.m. – Lobby walk-in from E River Street to drop off ammunition.

6:39 p.m. – Police investigated a motor vehicle complaint from Daniel Shays Highway of a go cart with rollover cage and no lights going up and down the road.  Police advised subject of the complaint and he stated he wouldn’t do it again. 

Friday, February 10

3:00 p.m. – Report from the Highway Department of 8-10 cows loose in the Main and N Main Street area.

5:38 p.m. – Police responded to a request for assistance from W Main Street.  Reporting party advised the officer he had lent his pick up truck to another individual who appeared to have vandalized it.  Police spoke with the involved parties and there were inconsistencies between their stories.  The inside of the vehicle had trash and a spilled drink throughout.  Reporting party was advised to contact his insurance for anything he believed was damaged.

Saturday, February 11

12:00 a.m. – Police responded to a disturbance call from Red Brook Lane.  Police mediated the situation which was a verbal altercation only.   

12:32 a.m. – Police investigated a suspicious vehicle found on Airport Street near East River Street.  Vehicle found to be unregistered and owner was contacted and advised police the vehicle was disabled.  Police advised them the vehicle would still need to be towed. 

6:31 p.m. – E Main Street traffic stop for driving without lights.  Verbal warning.

11:30 p.m. – Route 202 traffic stop for stop sign and marked lanes violation.
