Bird walks for non-birders

PETERSHAM – Intended for birding newbies, this short walk will go to a birding hotspot, where participants will use apps, field guides and each other to try to find and identify different species. Led by a novice birder who can barely tell a “pheebee” from a “towee”, let’s learn together. Please bring binoculars and a bird identification field guide. Recommended to also have a smartphone with Merlin, iNaturalist or other free birding app downloaded. Please bring water and dress appropriately for the weather and tick protection. All ages welcome. Dogs are not allowed.

Register at: Bird Walk for Non-Birders Tuesday, May 26 10am-11am.
