At the June 27 closing ceremonies for the 2026 season of the Athol-Orange Chuck Stone Little League and Babe Ruth League, the home team dugout along the first base line at Salevan Field in Athol was dedicated to the memory of Shaun Sherman, a dedicated league volunteer. Sherman died on May 9 at age 44.
