Three injured in pedestrian collision in Athol

ATHOL – Three people, one of them a young child, have been hospitalized following a collision at the intersection of Main and Crescent streets, according to fire officials.

Athol Deputy Fire Chief Jeffrey Parker said that the vehicle was traveling through the intersection in the late afternoon Wednesday when it struck the pedestrians, who were walking with the child in a stroller. The victims were transported to Athol Hospital with what are believed to be non life-threatening injuries.
