ORANGE — A graveside service with military honors was held on Friday morning, Aug. 4, 2017, in South Cemetery, Orange, for Raymond E. Burke, 91, of Holtshire Road, who died July 25, at Heywood Hospital in Gardner. 

Fr. Peter Pawlus of Saint Mary’s Church of Orange officiated. Military honors were provided by the United States Navy Honor Guard who played “Taps” and folded the American flag which was presented to Ray’s son, Ray. 

Following the service, a reception was held at the Burke home on Holtshire Road.

Witty’s Funeral Home, 158 South Main St., Orange, was honored with directing the arrangements.

There are no calling hours.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, Aug. 4, at 10 a.m., at South Cemetery, 585 South Main St., Orange.

In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to St. Mary’s Church, 19 Congress St., Orange, MA 01364.
