UMATILLA, Fla. — Brian Edward Pichette, 75, of Umatilla, FL passed away on Monday, March 5, 2018. He was born in Athol, MA. He worked for Jersey Central Power and Light. He was a member of the St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church and was a master gardener. He enjoyed listening to music especially Roy Orbison, liked cars, and was an avid lifelong Red Sox fan. He and his wife Jane were committed members of the group Contact for many years.
He is survived by his close friends: Pat Kauffman, Mary Boston, Virginia Whelpley, Darlene Reimers, and Evelyn Wrobleski; and his family members: Elaine (Willie) King, Andrea (Ray) Genest, Michael Dabkowski, Chet (Kerry) Dabkowski, Jr., Margaret Walkama, Sandra (Chip) Bachelder, Jane Sodderman, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane; and Dennis Dabkowski.
The funeral service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at the Saint Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church in Eustis, FL with Father Joseph Bellerive officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 9, 2018 at the Beyers Funeral Home Chapel in Umatilla.
