ATHOL — Absentee ballots for the annual town election on April 2 are available in the Athol Town Clerk’s Office.

Voters unable to vote at the polls on Election Day due to an absence from town during the hours the polls are open, a physical disability preventing them from going to the polling place, or religious belief may apply for an absentee ballot.

Absentee ballots must be requested in writing by the voter or the voter’s family member. Absentee ballot applications can be downloaded at www.athol-ma.gov.
