ATHOL — The Athol Golden Age Club’s St. Patrick’s Day Pot Luck Luncheon meeting will be held at noon on Monday, March 19, at Athol Senior Center, 88 Freedom St. in Lord Pond Plaza.
Members are asked to bring along their favorite dishes, casseroles, desserts or salads for the group to enjoy while socializing with other members. Anyone unable to bring a dish to share is asked to make donation.
This year’s dues can be paid to the membership secretary Caroline Marquis at the luncheon.
The club welcomes all North Quabbin area men and women who are 55 or over who would like to meet other seniors and enjoy stimulating programs. Annual dues are minimal.
This year, the club will sponsor senior trips in the New England area every other month from June to November. Interested seniors need not be club members to participate in any of the four trips. Information on each will be published in advance in the Athol Daily News and posted at the Athol Senior Center bulletin board and other locations. For more information, call Jean at 978-249-7519.
