8:38 a.m. — Welfare check, Main Street. 911 caller requesting police assistance with a welfare check for a 30-year-old patient that won’t come to the door. Negative contact with the male party in question. There wasn’t enough justification at the time to force entry. Reporting party will be stopping back at the apartment later today to try and make contact again.
9:30 a.m. — Motor vehicle stop, Main and Liberty streets. Verbal warning for defective equipment.
9:45 a.m. — Bank employee requesting a police escort with ATM maintenance, Exchange Street. Stood by as the ATM was maintained.
9:58 a.m. — Assistant ACO is investigating two loose dogs in the area, Chestnut Hill Avenue. Picked up and brought to the pound, owner notified.
10:09 a.m. — 911 misdial, Pleasant Street. Confirmed misdial.
10:38 a.m. — Assistance ACO is investigating an animal complaint, Rosemont Street. No one home.
10:44 a.m. — Motor vehicle stop, Daniel Shays Highway and Froman Street. Warning for inspection sticker.
11:43 a.m. — Welfare check, Grove Street. Necessary action taken.
12:14 p.m. — Caller reporting two loose dogs running down South Athol Road. Dogs picked up and are at pound. Owner will pick up tonight.
1:04 p.m. — Walk-in. Renew LTC, School Street.
1:29 p.m. — Walk-in. Renew LTC, Spring Street.
2:13 p.m. — The APD SRO is requesting an ambulance for an evaluation of a student, Pleasant Street.
2:15 p.m. — Walk-in to report a hit and run, Main Street. Party states her vehicle was struck while in the laundromat.
2:46 p.m. — Third party caller reporting a second overdose at this location, McGregor Street. No additional patient located at address, caller appears to be reporting the original overdose from previous call.
3:31 p.m. — Department of Corrections in to speak with an officer in reference to a report of threats made by their applicant he was checking into by a neighbor. Information was never reported to the police.
3:51 p.m. — Orange District Court requesting a CFS be faxed over to them for the involved party.
4:37 p.m. — Walk-in to speak to an officer about some harassing texts she received from involved party. Officer spoke with reporting party regarding threats via Facebook. Officer advised party to seek HARPO at ODC.
5:03 p.m. — Caller reporting a motor vehicle that appears to be disabled on the side of the road at the gate, Bearsden Road. Stated a wheel up in the air and another off the road. Appeared to be stuck and blocking the Bearsden trail entrance. Attempted to call owner of the vehicle, no response. Vehicle towed so emergency vehicles would have access to the trail in case of an emergency.
6:31 p.m. — Manager calling to report a customer was just in her face and causing a disturbance in the store, South Main St. Female party left in a motor vehicle after the disturbance. Officer spoke with manager who stated subject had gone into the store and started a verbal argument over the type of transaction she wanted to purchase her items with. Subject was advised to leave the store. Officer spoke with subject over the phone who stated similar situation. Subject was given a verbal trespass and manager was advised to go to ODC to seek a no trespass on court paper.
7:20 p.m. — Walk-in to station requesting officer, Twichell Street. Stating money was taken from her bank. She already spoke to bank earlier today. Party stated her daughter had $18,000 taken from her Navy Federal Bank in Philadelphia, Pa. Contacted daughter who stated the money had been taken out on 3/15/18 and believes it was a scam she may have given personal information to. Officer advised her to report the crime to her local police department in Pennsylvania since she is currently residing there and the crime had taken place there. Officer advised her to get in touch with the FTC in regards to identity fraud/theft.
8:51 p.m. — Transported prisoner to Franklin County Jail, Greenfield.
9:43 p.m. — Received fax of section 12. Female mad numerous calls to hotline threatening harm but refusing to give address. Crisis center asked we check address often in next 24 hours. Crisis center also called Fitchburg and advised them of same issues. Fitchburg checked their addresses with no contact of female.
10:09 p.m. — Caller states female is threatening to harm herself with hand gun via Facebook, Drury Avenue. Transported female to Athol Hospital.
4:09 p.m. — Transporting to Athol Hospital, Cottage Street.
4:16 p.m. — Caller reports two snowmobiles in parking lot near woodbine, Pleasant Street. One snowmobile flipped over, caller believes no injuries. Environmental Police notified. Requesting Fire Department for snowmobile smoking.
6:30 p.m. — Caller wants male removed from property, South Main Street. Male party involved and his friend transported to Cumberland Farms on Main Street.
6:51 p.m. — Call from alarm company, Harrison Street. Spoke with male party who stated he had unlocked the door approximately 25 minutes before officer arrival. Male party stated the alarm did not sound nor was he alerted. All appeared to be well.
7:06 p.m. — Mental health call, Green Street. Caller states female seems depressed, has made statements that if she gets hit by a car no one will care, statements about sobriety sucking. Transported female to Athol Hospital.
9:45 p.m. — Welfare check, Fern Street. Caller states he got a call that his child’s mother is intoxicated and not able to care for the child. Officer made contact with mother. Contacted caller and advised him there were no issues.
3:30 p.m. — Caller requesting we check on his mother, Silver Lake Street. States she has not been feeling well and he is five hours away. Spoke with female party who stated she was all set.
4:15 p.m. — Officer conducting follow-up investigation, South Main Street. Returned property.
5:08 p.m. — Motor vehicle stop, Main Street. Warning for failure to stop at stop sign.
5:11 p.m. — Motor vehicle stop, Main and Church streets. Warning for defective equipment. Flashers come on when left turn signal is activated.
6:57 p.m. — Motor vehicle stop, Main and Riverbend streets. Vehicle stopped due to registered owner having an expired license. Operator found to have active Florida license and advised of 30-day change of address rule.
7:23 p.m. — Call from alarm company for fire alarm activation, Market Drive. Assisted AFD.
8:33 p.m. — DCF requesting welfare check on a child, White Pond Road. Made contact with all involved, no issues.
9:38 p.m. — Motor vehicle stop, Templeton Road.
9:47 p.m. — Motor vehicle stop, South and Tunnel streets. Warning for no headlights.
