HOLYOKE — After being swept by two of the toughest teams in Western Massachusetts, the Athol boys volleyball team got back on track Monday night, defeating Holyoke High School, 3-1.
The Red Raiders (6-3) took Games 1 and 2, 25-21. They dropped Game 3, 25-12, and took Game 4, 26-24.
Justin Blake had 19 kills for the Red Raiders, while Colby Soltysik had 46 assists.
Blake has 62 kills on the year, while Solytsik has 221 assists.
Jordan Carrasquillo added nine kills, while Hudson Carlson and Nick Casella added five each. Anthony Potenti added three kills, while Soltysik, Colby Mason and Zach Aldrich each added two. Soltysik also had four aces, while Carrasquillo had three and Carlson two.
The Red Raiders will travel to Southwick on Wednesday to face the 2-2 Rams.
