SOUTH DEERFIELD — The Frontier Regional baseball team scored 11 runs in the fifth inning to defeat the Athol Red Raiders 12-2 on Monday.
The Red Hawks (5-0) held a 1-0 lead going into the fifth inning. The Red Raiders (2-3) scored two runs in the top of the sixth inning. Nicholas Bousquet had two hits for the Red Raiders, while taking the loss on the mound.
The Red Raiders are back at it today against the 5-1 Belchertown Orioles at 4 p.m.
