ATHOL — Kristinna Sigurdsson has largely carried the load on the mound for the Athol-Royalston Middle School softball team.
On Thursday, it wasn’t much different against Pioneer Valley Regional school as Sigurdsson pitched struck out 17 in a 7-1 complete-game victory.
Sigurddson and Jenna Bonenfant (two hits, two runs) each hit inside-the-park home runs for ARMS.
Reily Polana went 2-for-3 with one run and one double for ARMS. Sam Kenniff went 1-for-2 with one run and one double. Emma Bacigalupo had one walk and one run, while Bell Spooner added one walk and one run.
