ATHOL — The Greenfield Middle School softball team kept Athol-Royalston Middle School at bay Monday as ARMS generated two hits in its 4-1 loss.
Emma Bacigalupo scored ARMS’s run in the fifth inning when she doubled and then reached home on two errors on the play. Kristinna Sigurdsson had the team’s other hit.
Kendall Deleo added one walk and one stolen base.
Sigurdsson struck out 13 over seven innings for ARMS.
