ORANGE — On June 12, the Mahar softball program held its annual softball banquet. At the banquet, Megan Rich and Skylar Dodge were honored as co-MVPs of the varsity team.
Rich accumulated 110 strikeouts and pitched every out of the team’s season. She batted .381 on the season with 11 runs and six RBIs. Dodge batted .536 on the season with seven home runs. Both were voted for by the players and coach Jerry Duguay.
“Sarah is an example of a leader on the field and in the Classroom and who put the team first,” Duguay said.
Sarah Graeff earned the coach’s award for the softball program. She batted .459 with one home run as well as co-captained the team.
