ATHOL — With its 12-1 win over Lunenburg on Wednesday, the Chuck Stone All-Stars are currently in first place of the District 3 standings.
All six teams played on Wednesday night with Chuck Stone taking first due to having the most runs scored with 12.
Leominster National sits in second place after defeating Quabbin 10-0 and with the second-most runs scored. North Leominster sits in third place after defeating Leominster American 8-1. Because of runs scored, Leominster American sits in fourth place, while Lunenburg sits in fifth and Quabbin sixth.
Play resumes on Friday for all teams at 5:30 p.m. Chuck Stone (1-0) will travel to Desantis Field to face North Leominster (1-0).
Other action will include Lunenburg (0-1) at Quabbin (0-1) and Leominster American (0-1) at Leominster National (1-0).
