Delaney Parker scored three times for the Mahar girls soccer team in a 6-0 win over Pope Francis, Friday afternoon in Orange.
Mahar controlled play throughout, outshooting Pope Francis 28-3. Emma Savoy assisted on three of the four first-half goals for the Senators (3-1, 3-0 Pioneer North).
Micalyn Mailloux, Tori Tenney and Natalie Belloli also scored. Parker added an assist on Belloli’s goal, giving her four points for the game.
Tenney added an assist as well for Mahar.
Marie Nottleson made one save for her third consecutive shutout.
Mahar 3, Pioneer Regional 1 — Jordyn Berry belted 10 kills to lead the Senators to a 25-23, 25-22, 21-25, 25-22 win in Northfield.
Aria Flematti chipped in with 19 assists for Mahar while Ava Santana added five kills and four digs.
Frontier Regional 3, Athol 0 — The Red Raiders were overmatched against the perennial powerhouse Red Hawks.
Frontier won 25-21, 25-14, 25-5.
Hampshire 19, Mahar 5 — Tucker Ninteau shot a 47 and tied Evan Boyle in the No. 1 position, but the Senators (0-4) fell on the road at The Links at Worthington.
Mahar’s Isaiah Baker won his match, 3-1, over Gulian Marconi.
Palmer 24, Mahar 0 — In a match from Thursday, the Senators could not get a point against the Panthers at Ellinwood Country Club (par 35).
Ninteau had the best round, shooting a 54 for Mahar.
