Delaney Parker continued her early offensive onslaught for the Mahar girls soccer team in a 3-0 win over Easthampton, Friday afternoon in Orange.

Parker did it a little differently against the Eagles, with two goals coming off penalty kicks.

The final goal late in the game came off a brilliant pass from Emma Savoy, giving Parker time to settle and fire an accurate shot in net.

Marie Nottleson made two saves for the Senators (5-1, 5-0 Pioneer North), who have now won five straight. Parker has 10 goals on the season.

Volleyball

Mahar 3, Sabis 0 — The Senators (5-3) swept the Bulldogs at home 25-13, 25-20 and 25-13.

Jordyn Berry had seven aces and five kills for Mahar.

Aria Flematti led the team with 18 assists.

Easthampton 3, Athol 0 — The Red Raiders fell 25-12, 25-15, 25-17. Alexis Carrasquillo had four kills, Lexi Forte seven assists and Abby Roberts three kills in defeat.

Field hockey

Palmer 4, Athol 1— Sadey Lehtomaki scored with an assist from Samantha Keniff but the Red Raiders couldn’t hold on in the second half after being tied 1-1 at the break.

Ryley Pond made 10 saves in defeat.
