ORANGE — All are welcome to visit the Orange United Methodist Church’s annual Harvest Fair on Saturday, Oct. 6 from 9:30 to 2 p.m.
Dennis Hallett will be in charge of the Country Store. Homemade jams and jellies, fresh vegetables, flowers, pumpkins and Cabot Extra Sharp Cheddar cheese ordered directly from the manufacturer will be sold. Hallett will cut the cheese to order from a large wheel.
There will be a crafts table with items donated by the members of the church, organized by Nancy J. Blackmer and Nancy Carr.
Marilyn Cummings and Shirley Barrus will be in charge of the bake sale table, which will feature fresh apple pies made on site, and other baked goods.
Homemade doughnuts made fresh the day of the fair is another popular ite, Daniel Jones, Bruce Hull, Sally Bagdonas, Peggy Doane, Jennifer Doane, Cathy Goddard and several others will be taking care of making these treats.
The homemade fudge and candy table will be run by Jim and Judy Pollard.
Janis Cos is in charge of the Pop-A-Balloon booth.
In the food booth, Jason INgram will be making the french fries with the assistance of Leon Pratt. There will also be hot dogs, chili and beverages available. Arthur Alger, Linda Petruski and Carol Robichaud will assist.
There will be a tag sale with assistance from Betsy Hallett and Gretchen Hale.
Pastor Judy Jones, Barbara Hamilton, Nancy M. Blackmer, Rebecca Ingram and Alex Shahan will be assisting with all the fair activities.
