Cassidy Boutwell and Gabby Lyman each had a goal for the Mahar middle school girls soccer team in a 2-0 win over Hopkins Academy on Friday.

Carra Fitzgerald and Mary Simon had the assists.

Baylee Rousseau stopped a penalty kick for the Senators, and made five total saves in the shutout.

On Thursday, the Senators cruised past Greenfield, 6-0, on the road.

Boutwell and Brynn Adams (assist) had two goals each, with Julia Zani and Dakota Cleveland also scoring.

Fitzgerald, Logan Burke, Madison Martowska, Trinity Doane and Lyman also had assists. Rousseau and Alivia Patch combined for four saves.

Patch stopped a penalty kick for the Senators.

Mahar 2, Athol 0 — Grace Rich’s goal in the 36th minute helped the Senators beat the Red Raiders at home on Thursday.

Isabella Zani had the assist and added a goal of her own assisted by Alyssa Rousseau.

Maddison Lloyd collected her sixth shut out of the season for the Senators.
