Aileen Fitzgerald scored twice for the Mahar field hockey team in a 5-0 win over Franklin Tech, Monday.

The Senators travel to Athol on Wednesday, which is the “Play for the Cure” game, a fundraiser for breast cancer. The game is at 6:30.

Mahar (9-1) got two goals from Sarah Graeff while Delaney Parker, Emma Savoy, Lani DiDiego and Sienna Moore (assist) each added a goal.

Pioneer Regional 3, Athol 1 — The Red Raiders (5-5) couldn’t stay with the Panthers at home.
Hailey Wrigley made 13 saves for Athol, with Grace Dufour scoring the lone goal.
Chicopee 3, Athol 0 — Abby Roberts had five kills, but the Red Raiders were swept on the road.
Set scores were 25-13, 25-7 and 25-7.
Katelyn Mahan had six digs with Lexi Forte adding six assists and four digs for Athol (0-11).
