One week after clinching a playoff berth, the Mahar girls volleyball team had a setter reach a monumental milestone in a 3-0 win over Pioneer Regional, Friday in Orange.

Aria Flematti recorded 11 assists against the Panthers, surpassing 1,000 for her career with the Senators (12-4).

Set scores were 25-12, 25-11 and 25-16.

Jordyn Berry led the Senators with six kills, while Ava Santana added five.

Field Hockey

Mahar 0, Palmer 0 — The Senators had 19 shots on goal but could not break through in the draw in Orange.

Bella Marigliano made one save for the Senators (8-3-4).

Boys soccer

Athol 5, Granby 2 — Bryce King scored two goals and had two assists as the Red Raiders (8-7-0, 6-5-0 Schmid) rolled at home.

Athol needs two points to qualify for the postseason.

Angel Rivera added one goal and two assists. Dilan Fountain and Nick Bousquet had a goal apiece.

Casey Mason made three saves in the win.
