PETERSHAM — Two favorite crafters will return to Petersham Art Center for November classes.

On Saturday, Nov. 10, from 9 a.m. to noon, Trish Miller will teach a class on needle felting. Students will create a “Thomas the Turkey” needle-felted out of colorful fiber.  Miller is a member of the Petersham Art Center who has been teaching fiber arts throughout the area for many years.

Jen Niles will instruct a “Paint a Pet” class on Saturday, Nov. 10, from 2-4 p.m. Participants will paint whimsical images of their pets onto wooden ornaments. Students will paint up to three ornaments. Niles is well known for her fanciful pet portraits and maintains her own art studio.

Petersham Art Center is a non-profit venue for art and craft located at 8 North Street, off Route 32. Call 978-724-3415 to register for these classes. There is a fee for each class.

The Art Center is open Wednesday-Sunday, noon to 4 p.m., for displaying unique, artist-created items in its shop and for exhibits by local artists, as well as for art and craft classes.
