The Mahar middle school football team ran past Athol, 26-8, on Tuesday.
Jayden Carey did most of the running for the Senators with over 150 yards and four touchdowns.
Caleb Lemcke and Dominic Cacciolfi combined for 60 yards on the ground for Mahar, with Lemcke adding an interception on defense.

Mahar 2, Athol 0 — Logan Burke and Cassidy Boutell both scored for the Mahar middle school girls soccer team in a win over the Red Raiders on Monday.
Carra Fitzgerald and Astha Bernard had the assists.
Baylee Rousseau made six saves.
Mahar 8, Hopkins Academy 0 — Eight players scored for the Senators in a home win on Monday.
Emi Carfagna, Natalie Apteker, Siobhan Davis, Mackinley Drew, Sienna Moore, Jordan Fournier, Maddie Blattenberger and Isabella Zani all found the back of the net.
Zani had two assists with Moore, Davis, Blattenberger, Grace Rich and Taylor Soucie also getting a helper.
Maddison Lloyd registered her eighth shutout of the season.
