12:24 a.m. — Motor vehicle stop, South Main Street. Verbal warning for failure to inspect vehicle.

1:10 a.m. — Officer out at North Main Street for follow-up investigation.

1:45 a.m. — Motor vehicle stop, East River Street. Operator issued verbal warning for not having an inspection sticker.

7:11 a.m. — Holtshire Road caller states party drove through a stop sign and turned onto Holtshire Road. Could not locate.

8:13 a.m. — Charles Street caller reported receiving another call from the IRS. Did not give any personal information. Officers advised.

8:18 a.m. — Motor vehicle stop, North Main Street at Winter Street for passing a school bus van when its lights were flashing in the Dexter Park drop off circle. The operator spoken with and educated about the violation.

1:02 p.m. — Officer requested on New Athol Road for a vehicle identification number check. Owner reports that two months ago subject left their car on the lot as they were going to trade it. This never happened and they have not come back. The company has been trying to get them to remove it and they are not responding. Now the plates have been removed. VIN check came back active; the owner does not want to be liable for the vehicle. He was told he could have it moved back to their address if he wished as the owner has had proper notification.

1:58 p.m. — East Main Street caller reports neighbor’s door is wide open. On arrival, the homeowner was just returning and advised that she had accidentally left the door open. Home checked and all was in order.

2:09 p.m. — Tully Road caller reports someone damaged his front door in an attempt to burglarize the house. Caller was advised to limit his movements and wait outside. On arrival, a small pinhole was found in the weather strip that goes around the door. The home was checked and all appeared in order. Party was given some security options.

4:15 p.m. — Caller states there is a tree limb tangled up in the power and phone line, East River Street. Officer responded and found a small tree branch had fallen on the powerlines servicing a residence. National Grid contacted.

4:31 p.m. — Officer reported to Canon Lane for a report of loud music playing. Upon arrival the music was not found to be unreasonably loud. Spoke with all parties involved.

7:28 p.m. — Motor vehicle lockout, vehicle running; no one inside but her 5-year-old is outside with her, East Main Street. Entry gained prior to officer’s arrival.

9:19 p.m. — Motor vehicle lockout (van), Prospect Street. Entry gained.
